I have been teaching yoga since 2004 and I first stepped on to my yoga mat in 1996 when I was given a yoga video as a present, I instantly knew this was the right path for me as I felt the many benefits for body and mind, I continued my yoga practice at home through books about yoga and meditation and my yoga video, I then went to my first yoga class in 2000.
I first started practicing yoga in my journey for a deeper meaning to life and to increase my inner peace and contentment. I went to my first yoga class in 2000 and with the encouragement and inspiration of my first yoga teacher and the people practicing yoga beside me I decided to go on to train as a yoga teacher to share my great love for yoga! I feel very grateful to have been taught by so many wonderful yoga and meditation teachers over the years, and to have practiced many kinds of yoga. We all go through ups and downs in life, births, deaths, relationships, responsibility’s, health issues ect…..and through our yoga practice we can develop our connection to our deep peace which is unaffected through events outside of ourselves. As my yoga practice has deepened over many years I have naturally become more drawn to meditation and Jnana (wisdom/knowledge) yoga, attending Satsang with and following the teaching of Mooji and also Eckhart Tolles teachings.
